THE SPA SPECIAL SCHOOL FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH AUTISM & ASPERGERS SYNDROME at CAMBERWELL & BERMONDSEY CAMPUS'.
Proposal:
- To teach basic karate techniques, self defence and awareness, instil discipline
- and a healthy respect for self and others.
- All of the above in a fun, exciting way.
- Help students to improve the Three C’s and a D:
CONFIDENCE, COORDINATION,CONCENTRATION & DISCIPLINE.
- Classes within the school curriculum
- Long term programs for individual year groups, statemented students and students with special needs.
- Certificates for outstanding acheivement
- The learning of simple Japanese terms and traditions
- Options to attend evening classes with the same instructor to provide longevity to the students’ training and skills
- Opportunity for students to grade through the Ranks through
- hard work and dedication
- Official Karate grading
- In-house tournaments
